Building Sustainable Energy Partnerships: RENAC and AHK Israel’s Ongoing Collaboration under the German Energy Solutions Initiative

RENAC is a long-standing project partner of numerous AHKs worldwide and has been working closely with AHK Israel since 2009 as part of the German-Energy-Solutions Initiative.
 

The cooperation between RENAC and AHK Israel covers all projects between Germany and Israel in the framework of the German Energy Solutions Initiative which is part of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action’s initiatives to foster economic ties between German SMEs and Israeli companies. The main modules of these projects are fact-finding missions to Germany and trade missions to Israel.
 

Fact-finding missions to Germany address Israeli company representatives and decision-makers from politics and public administration in order to enable them to gather first-hand information, especially on smart and sustainable energy technologies and solutions made in Germany. These missions include on-site visits of best-practice applications in the fields of renewable energy and energy efficiency, delivering insights into the German energy solutions sector, and establishing business contacts with German companies. The Israeli participants benefit from a comprehensive information and visitor program designed to foster the transfer of expertise.
 

Trade Missions from Germany to Israel support the establishment of business ties between companies of the two countries. The visits of German business representatives include a one-day seminar showcasing the expertise and the latest energy solutions from Germany and Israel. This conference provides a forum for networking, specialist talks, and discussing current developments and the policy environment for smart energy solutions. Furthermore, AHK Israel organizes individual business meetings with German companies.
