Israel is set to invest NIS 40 million (approximately $12 million) to establish a national research and development laboratory aimed at supporting startups developing space-bound technologies. The initiative was announced by the Israel Space Agency (ISA) and the Israel Innovation Authority.

 

The new lab is designed to assist companies in testing and validating their technologies under real space conditions. Especially for early-stage startups facing high financial costs and regulatory barriers, the lab is expected to reduce market launch costs by 35 %. The program aims to enhance Israel’s competitiveness in the rapidly growing global space sector.
