RENAC - Renewables Academy AG
The Renewables Academy AG (RENAC), based in Berlin, Germany, is one of the leading international providers of education and training in the fields of renewable energy and energy efficiency. Since 2008, it has been engaged in developing markets worldwide through capacity building on behalf of international organizations, national institutions, companies and private individuals.
RENAC is a long-standing project partner of numerous AHKs worldwide and has been working closely with AHK Israel since 2009 as part of the German-Energy-Solutions Initiative.
The cooperation between RENAC and the AHK Israel covers all projects between Germany and Israel in the framework of the German Energy Solutions Initiative that is part of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action’s initiatives to foster economic ties between German SMEs and Israeli companies. Main modules of these projects are fact-finding missions to Germany and trade missions to Israel.
Fact-finding missions to Germany address Israeli company representatives and decision-makers from politics and public administration in order to enable them to gather first-hand information, especially on smart and sustainable energy technologies and solutions made in Germany. These missions include on-site visits of best-practice applications in the fields of renewable energy and energy efficiency, deliver insights into the German energy solutions sector and establish business contacts with German companies. The Israeli participants benefit from a comprehensive information and visitor programme designed to foster the transfer of expertise.
Trade Missions from Germany to Israel support the establishment of business ties between companies of the two countries. The visits of German business representatives include a one-day seminar showcasing the expertise and the latest energy solutions from Germany and Israel. This conference provides a forum for networking, specialist talks, discussing current developments and the policy environment for smart energy solutions. Furthermore, the AHK Israel organises individual business meetings with German companies.
