A new report by Remagine Ventures shows that Israel’s generative AI ecosystem continues to grow rapidly, with 342 active startups, up from just 144 a year ago. In total, these companies have raised over $20 billion to date. In the past 12 months alone, 198 new companies were founded, and 31 acquisitions took place, with disclosed deals totaling $6.1 billion.
Over half of the newly founded startups are building agentic AI systems, meaning autonomous or semi-autonomous platforms for enterprise use. The report highlights Israel’s unique strengths: a high concentration of AI talent, deep industry expertise in sectors like cybersecurity and healthcare, and strong access to capital. According to Remagine Ventures, this moment marks a significant inflection point for Israeli tech.
